Iran protests: Large protests have spread across dozens of cities in Iran following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in the hands of authorities late last week. Mrs. Amini had been arrested by officials for “unsuitable attire”, violating a law in Iran that requires women to cover their hair in public and wear loose-fitting clothes. It’s estimated at least 15 people have died thus far in the protests. Authorities have restricted internet access across large swaths of the country in response to the uprisings.
