Kansas votes to keep abortion: The state of Kansas voted ‘No’ on Tuesday to the “Value them both” legislation, that would have given the Republican-controlled state the ability to add more restrictions or implement ban of abortion. In Kansas, 62% voted “No” on the referendum. For context, President Trump won Kansas by 15 percentage points in 2020. More than 900,000 people cast ballots, or about ⅓ of the state’s population.
