$1B lottery: The Mega Millions Powerball lottery has soared over $1.1B. No one has pulled the winning combination of numbers since April 15, which has caused the jackpot to explode in size. It marks just the third time in Mega Millions’ 20-year history the jackpot has surpassed $1B. The all-time record was set in 2018 at $1.54B from a winner in South Carolina.
