President Biden tested positive for covid on Thursday morning. Biden’s personal physician said the president was experiencing “a runny nose, fatigue, and the occasional dry cough.” Mr. Biden will continue to perform his presidential duties in isolation until he receives a negative test. Meanwhile, his medical team put the president on Paxlovid, an antiviral medicine. Biden, who has received two doses of the vaccine along with two booster shots, turns 80 this year.
