Breaking: Elon Musk’s $44B acquisition of Twitter is on temporary hold, “pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users,” Musk tweeted Friday morning. “Still committed to acquisition,” he said in a follow up tweet.

More: Bot accounts are a problem for Twitter, and the company said they represent less than 5% of users in their latest earnings report. Twitter has about 220M daily active users.

Dave Chappelle: Comedian, Dave Chapelle, was attacked on stage by a man with a replica handgun and a knife on May 4 in Los Angeles. The attacker has been charged with a felony for assault with a deadly weapon. Chapelle, who fell to the ground after the hit, got up safely and continued with the show, cracking a joke following the incident. Chapelle has increasingly come under heat from the left for his jokes about gays and transgender people. (full video)
