Covid tests: The U.S. government launched its new website, covidtests.gov, on Tuesday. Every U.S. household can order four at-home test kits, with covid stimulus bills covering the costs. The website says, “Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days. Order your tests now so you have them when you need them.” The tests are rapid antigen swabs, not PCR tests.

Filibuster change fails: Democrats were unsuccessful in altering the senate filibuster rules on Wednesday in an effort to advance two voting reform bills. Current filibuster rules require 60 votes in the senate to advance or end debate on a given piece of legislation.
