New Zealand enters nationwide lockdown: New Zealand has entered a nationwide lockdown after a 58-year-old tested positive for the Delta variant and passed it to at least four people. The positive test of coronavirus was the first in over six months for the country which has been able to almost completely control the virus. The lockdown, announced on Tuesday, is only expected to last for three days, while the community in which the positive test was found will lockdown for roughly seven days.
