Chinese Communist Party (CCP) 100th anniversary: In a speech celebrating the 100th anniversary of the CCP, President Xi Jinping said “we will never allow anyone to bully, oppress or subjugate China," adding that “anyone who dares try to do that will have their heads bashed bloody against the Great Wall of Steel forged by over 1.4 billion Chinese people.” President XI also added that the “new world” they have created would not have been possible without the communist party. Military jets performed flyovers during the celebration, which tens of thousands attended.
