The CDC announced that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks or social distance in most settings - the only exceptions being airports, hospitals, buses/trains, and prisons. The decision comes after a recent study from Israel showing the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to be 97% effective against symptomatic spread of the virus and 86% effective against asymptomatic spread.

Instagram for kids gets pushback: State Attorney Generals from 44 states are urging Mark Zuckerberg to not launch a version of Facebook and Instagram for children under the age of 13. The letter, written by all sides of the political spectrum, raises mental health concerns for young children using social media. Facebook currently bans anyone over 13 from signing up for the platforms, but children can bypass this requirement by lying about their age.
