Mars rover footage: NASA has released some early footage of the Perseverance rover descending on Mars (video). For the first time, images sent back to Earth show in 4K video footage what Mars looks like on the ground. NASA is planning to send materials back from the rover by 2031, in a plan titled, Mars Sample Return.

Tiger Woods is recovering from a severe car wreck on Tuesday. Woods lost control of his vehicle, crossed the median, and rolled several times down a steep hill (video). After being removed from his car by the “Jaws of Life” rescue tool, Woods was immediately brought to the ER for surgery on both legs.
