A grandmother from the UK became the first person to officially receive the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. Margaret Keenan, who turns 91 next week, said it was the “best early birthday present” because she will be able to spend time with family and friends again. Following her vaccination, nurses and doctors lined the hallway cheering for her as she was wheeled out (video).
Elon Musk has moved from California to Texas: in an interview with the WSJ, Musk said he left the state of California in part because Tesla and SpaceX have two important projects located in Texas. He added that he thinks California has become complacent in how it treats its businesses and innovators. “California’s been winning for a long time, and I think they’re taking it for granted,” Musk said.
