CDC has reduced the recommended quarantine period from 14 days to 7 to 10 days. A person who has been exposed to Covid is recommended to end their quarantine after 7 days with a negative test, while a person who receives no test is encouraged to quarantine for 10 days. Scientific consensus is that the virus takes less time to develop than previously thought.
